1st Day of School 2009

Yes, It is dark outside!! They catch the bus in front of our house at 6:53am, way... too early. That means they have to get up at 5:45!! My poor children. I'm feeling a little sad today, because my buddy started kindergarten and it's all day. What do I do with my time?? Well, I've started out my morning by blogging this day. They all seem to have good teachers at a great school, so hopefully we are off to a great year. We will keep you posted.

The kids had so much fun with Bo and Sylvia at their home! Bo took the kids on a boat ride and we had a fun evening. They loved it!!

Happy 5th Birthday Blake

We love you so much buddy!! Meemer made you the best "Batman" Cake ever. This was the same birthday cake Joseph had when he was 6 years old. Meemer still had the pan and everything. Blake has been talking about this batman cake for 2 months. He shared his birthday with his cousin Drake who turned 4 years old. It is so much fun spending time with cousins and grandparents.

The kids are having so much fun swimming, riding the golf cart, playing baseball, late summer night movies, etc. with their cousins in AL. Our move to San Antonio was quick lived when we realized we couldn't get into our house until August. So we are enjoying time with family and cousins. These are just a few of many pictures of our summer days 2009!!

Jodie and Patsy after the Bolder Boulder!!

My friend Jodie and I trained for 16 weeks for the Bolder Boulder which is a 10K (6.2 miles) and today was the day!! I have always loved working out, but have never really been a runner, so this was a new challenge for me. We had so... much fun! I ran it in 1 hour and 11 minutes which is about an 11.35 minute mile!! Anyway, just wanted to share the joy!! It was a blast. I'm ready to train for something new. We will see what San Antonio has to offer.

Washington DC Trip

Joseph and I were able to go to Washington DC and had an amazing time. We were able to enjoy all of the attractions around our nation's capital. It was a great retreat from my normal busy life.

Forester/Cronin Evening in Colorado Springs Feb. 9th 2009

It was great to see Katie and Jason and Tracie in Colorado!! What a nice surprise. The Cronin Construction company have a big deal going on in Denver and we were the lucky recipients to have them come into town. My kids were in heaven and of course I was thrilled also. Jason and Joseph haven't seen each other for a few years so it was a great reunion. Thanks for the great evening sis and bro. Jason!! I love ya'll!!!!

The New 4-wheeler

My husband brought home this 4 wheeler for the kids, but I think it was mostly aimed at his son!!! Blake and the girls had a fun time riding it.
